Northcote launches Obsession Gin

Made with six key botanicals, a liberal sprinkling of expertise and bucketfuls of passion, we hope you love it as much as we do!
Obsession is a contemporary juniper-forward dry gin with Lancashire burdock root and marsh samphire from the Ribble estuary. Rich and earthy with a smooth mellow mouth feel, Obsession Gin is enhanced with bittersweet notes of orange and seabuckthorn.
Grains of Paradise
Executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen, managing Director Craig Bancroft and the bar team developed the recipe with expert input from our distiller, Lytham Gin. We worked together to combine our chosen botanicals and create the perfect recipe. This was taste tested by the team and went through the refinement stage to arrive at a gin we are all delighted by.
We’ve worked closely with our friends at Lytham Gin, a multi award-winning quality distillery. Founder and distiller Sara Dewhurst studied organic chemistry and uses her knowledge to distil quality juniper-led gins, using the best foraged and locally-grown ingredients.
Their Lytham Original was awarded the World’s Best Traditional Gin in the 2021 Gin Guide Awards, so we know our gin is in the best hands!

Obsession gin trays can be ordered by hotel residents – a 200ml bottle with 4 x Fever Tree Tonics, ice and garnishes.
You can purchase a 70cl bottle from Northcote’s reception to enjoy at home. Bottles are priced at £49.00.
