Lisa Goodwin-Allen

Lisa Goodwin-Allen, 2023 Food & Travel Reader Awards Chef of the Year, 2022 CATEY Chef of the Year and AYALA SquareMeal Female Chef of the Year Award 2022, is one of the most innovative and exciting chefs in the UK today.

After joining Northcote at age 20, at the age of 23 she was named head chef, one of the youngest chefs to take on the role in a Michelin-starred kitchen at the time. Since then she has helped to maintain the restaurant’s Michelin Star which it has held for over 20 years.

Lisa is passionate about using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients to incorporate her Lancashire roots into her creative dishes. Lisa lives and breathes food; it is this passion that means she is always looking for interesting ingredients and techniques, and experimenting to create dishes where the ingredients and their flavour shine through.

Shaun Rankin

Originally from Yorkshire, Shaun Rankin honed his skills at The Mayfair Hotel in London and attended the Thames Valley University at Slough. Shaun’s love of the sea then took him to the Channel Islands where he spent the majority of his career residing in Jersey.

In 2003 he joined Bohemia restaurant as Head Chef, gaining his first MICHELIN star in 2005. Shaun opened his own highly-acclaimed restaurant, Ormer in 2013 in St Helier which was awarded its first MICHELIN star four months after opening, as well as receiving three AA rosettes a few months later.

Following his success in Jersey, Shaun returned to London where he opened Ormer Mayfair, as well as the restaurant at 12 Hay Hill, also located in London’s Mayfair.

Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall opened in July 2019, where Shaun Rankin is Chef Patron. Which was awarded its first MICHELIN star in January 2020 and four AA rosettes in September 2023.

Tom Scade

Executive Chef, Tom Scade, delivers classical French cookery at its roots, using modern techniques to execute the finest quality dishes. Letting the ingredients speak for themselves, Tom uses his expertise to bring out the flavour of each, delivering creative and innovative plates using the very best seasonal offerings

Tom has worked in some of the best kitchens in the UK and trained under John Williams MBE at The Ritz, London, where he was instrumental in maintaining and delivering the highest quality in line with their Michelin star.

He has gone on to win a string of accolades, including winning the UK finals of the prestigious Le Taittinger Prix Culinaire in 2018 before coming third in the world finals later that year.

Bringing together a marriage of food and wine, Tom has seamlessly incorporated The Vineyard’s Californian heritage into his menus, mixing wines and olive oil from the Peter Michael Winery into many of his dishes.
