Meet Craig J Bancroft MI FIH

For 40 years, Craig Bancroft, affectionately known as ‘Mr B’, has been the transformative force and beating heart of Northcote. As the Managing Director, he has passionately moulded Northcote into the esteemed establishment it is today. Honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award 2023 at The Hotel Catey’s and named The Caterer’s Hotelier of the Year in 2016, Mr B is a celebrated luminary in the hospitality industry.

His encyclopedic knowledge of wines has crafted Northcote’s award-winning wine list, placing us in a league of our own. At this exclusive event, his unwavering passion for wine and education will be evident. Craig will guide attendees through a meticulously selected wine flight, revealing insider tips on discerning wine nuances and decoding flavour profiles. As the evening concludes, guests will depart armed with enriching knowledge, sure to enhance all future wine adventures.

Meet Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen

Executive Chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen has been the creative force behind Northcote’s kitchen since 2001. Born and bred in Lancashire, Lisa carries her local roots into the heart of the kitchen, and armed with intuitive understanding of local ingredients, she meticulously curates seasonal menus that are nothing short of culinary poetry. Recognised nationally, Lisa has graced television screens as a judge on Great British Menu and cooking alongside James Martin.

Lisa will guide you through the gourmet menu, every course reveals the essence of the season, with the freshest ingredients taking center stage. You’ll get an insight into her creative process and the inspiration behind her creations, and have a deeper appreciation for the richness of Lancashire’s seasonal offerings.
