The Summer Gourmet Menu

Lisa’s Summer 5-Course Gourmet Menu 2020 celebrates some of the best produce from this season.

 

The menu begins with Lisa’s chilled Isle of White Tomatoes. This has become one of Lisa’s signature dishes, back by popular request so you can enjoy the exceptional quality of this sunshine fruit from The Tomato Stall. Their dedication to sustainability and organic production gives a unique texture and flavour.
English Peas follow with a traditional accompaniment of bacon and mint from Northcote’s garden. The unique sweetness of the peas and the engaging way they pop in your mouth is incredible.
Turbot, the noblest of fish and king of the sea should quite rightly feature on the menu to celebrate coming out of lockdown, served with steamed mussels, preserving their natural flavour and nasturtium from the garden. 
The main course features Lake District Lamb, onion sausage, sheep’s curd from the wonderful Leagram Organic Dairy just a few miles from Northcote and garden lovage. 
And if this celebration of summer produce couldn’t get any better, Lisa’s ‘Strawberry Trifle’ – deliciously British using environmentally friendly strawberries from Annabel Makin-Jones’s Yorkshire farm.

If you need a good excuse to leave lockdown behind, this is the perfect way to celebrate all the best things about British summer produce.

The seasonal lunch menu will continue with an expanded a la carte menu along with popular plant-based menus, all to be released over the coming weeks.
