Indulge in an overnight gourmet break, plus an artisan food adventure in the Ribble Valley.
Relax and enjoy the stunning Lancashire landscape, while being chauffeur driven to a number of different destinations. Guests can discover local legends and meet the countryside’s finest food and drink artisans. From a gin distillery on the fells, cheese makers and ice cream fresh from the herd, to freshly made bakes and comfort classics, every stop is selected to showcase the skills of the Ribble Valley and Wyre waterways. This is a foodie eco-escape which allows guests to reconnect and make memories for all the senses.

The Artisan Food Tour will start at 10:00am following your breakfast on your departure day. You will return to Northcote at 4pm, after a full day of visits across the region.

A Northcote Bowland & Bay Artisan Tour
After breakfast you will head off with local lass, Katie Wilson, for your exclusive Northcote artisan food adventure, chauffeur driven in a luxury Mercedez Benz Tourer. Katie has 30 years’ experience in the food and drink industry and National Trust, as an historian and photographer, Katie includes tales both “legend & tall”, intertwined with hints and tips for getting the best landscape and food shots to capture the day.
You will visit a select group of the finest artisans in the region, enjoying a coffee & cake brunch; tastings from local cheese and savoury producers; fresh at the farm ice cream; insights into local gin distilleries and award-winning micro brewers, plenty of local nibbles along the way to share and purchase pantry delights for home.
It’s a day created for food lovers, in the belief that by eating together and sharing stories, we can all stop a while, smile, reconnect…and breathe!
