Junior Cookery School Tutor Emma was one of just six young chefs to join the Graduate Awards hall of fame.

Fourteen entrants reached the final, following intense regional heats which lasted five hours. The pastry exam was the final challenge before the graduates were revealed in the ceremony at The Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Knightsbridge, London on 30th August which Emma attended with partner Ryan (above).

The competition, now in its 16th year is for chefs aged 23 and under, to test and improve the skills which chefs have learnt at college and in their early careers, and take them to the next level.

Congratulations to Emma on her wonderful achievement. She taught me on the cookery course I attended in June just before the final of the competition. I am delighted that all her hard work paid off.
