Christmas Cakes, Puds & Pies
Christmas is sorted! We’ll help you get organised for the big day and share some of our trusted family recipes with you. On this course you’ll make your own sweet pastry to craft homemade mince pies with, make a Christmas pudding and cake from scratch and then indulge in the tastings that we will have prepared for you.With a fabulous two course lunch in Northcote’s Michelin starred restaurant thrown in for good measure all you’ll have to do is wrap up the presents!
You will be cooking:
- Granny’s Christmas Pudding with homemade brandy sauce
- Northcote Christmas Cake
- Northcote Mince Pies with homemade brandy butter cream
- One-day course tuition

Not just for the beginners in the kitchen but also for those wanting to discover new flavours and techniques. With no previous experience of cookery expected, this type of course will teach you the fundamental skills and techniques required to build your confidence and knowledge. With time dedicated to explain the basics, we will concentrate on techniques and help you understand the "why's" as well as the "how to's". Only equipment found in most domestic kitchens will be used on these courses.
