A fantastic exclusive evening for the steak connoisseur. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of Champagne and canapes as we begin our journey into the world of all things steak, learning a little science to help you cook any cut perfectly, featuring demonstrations, tastings and hands-on cooking, including what is considered the prime cut; fillet steak.

You’ll be tasting the ‘ultimate four’ cuts of steak which you’ll be familiar with, but you’ll also learn a little about the science about the different cooking processes and which to apply to your steak to get perfect results every time. There will be demonstrations of various steak dishes throughout the evening and you’ll be able to taste the results as we go.

Then you’ll be given your own beautiful piece of fillet to cook and enjoy in the Cookery School. Our chef brigade will prepare your accompaniments of real chips cooked in dripping, beef fat onions, bernaise sauce and a tasty seasonal salad. Your supper will be accompanied by a stunning red wine selected by our Sommelier team to be the perfect match for your steak. Dessert will also be served from the Northcote kichen.

When the evening draws to a close, you’ll be given a goodie bag to take home, armed with all the knowledge to cook quality steak dishes full of flavour and guaranteed to impress!

The evening will include:

  • Glass of Louis Roederer Brut Champagne on arrival
  • Steak Sandwich
  • Steak tasting of the ultimate four: Rib Eye, Rump, Sirloin & Fillet
  • Steak Tartare
  • Cook a Fillet Steak Au Poivre to enjoy with accompaniments prepared by our chefs: Triple Cooked Chips, Beef Fat Onions, Bernaise Sauce, Salad
  • Matched wine chosen by our Sommelier team to accompany your steak
  • Dessert from the Northcote kitchen
