Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external auditors and assisting the audit process
  • Assist the implementation of the high-level credit control strategy
  • Assist in the production and analysis of the annual budget
  • Analysis of weekly cash forecasting
  • Daily revenue reporting
  • Report of KPIs with review and comments (stock/credit control/margins/overheads)
  • Production and review of month end accounts
  • Production of overheads analysis
  • Production of VAT returns and analytical review
  • Production of monthly balance sheet reconciliation files with comments and analysis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General purchase ledger (collating and entering invoices, reconciling statements)
  • Manage technical accounting issues (regulations/policies update)
  • Be part of the internal control framework, for example, ensuring that new vendor accounts are set up and then maintaining appropriately
  • Generate/process/reconcile purchase orders
  • Stock management and costings

Main Requirements and Competencies

  • BA Hons, preferably in areas related to finance and controlling
  • Languages: fluent in English (written and spoken) is a prerequisite
  • You demonstrate genuine interest in our business and are eager to discover and learn more
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • High level of Excel knowledge creating and building formulas
  • You are a team player and an agile learner
  • You are willing to push yourself out of your comfort zone
  • Proactive and committed mind set

£21,000 – £24,000 dependent on experience
