The wait is finally over and all the regions have battled it out over the past two months to compete for a place to cook at the People's Banquet. It is now down to 8 of the country's top chefs to fight for their place, one of those being our very own Lisa Allen!

Tune into BBC 2 on Monday 30th May from 6pm to watch the Great British Menu Final!

Come and join us at The Magic Loungeabout this summer. Its a distinctive festival with an emphasis on a refined unwind and the best in electronic pop and acoustic music. It returns for its second year at the fantastic Broughton Hall near Skipton on 29/30/31 July 2001.

The line up is the biggest of any privately owned festival in Yorkshire and includes the likes of The Human League and Badly Drawn Boy. A speakers tent will host the likes of Annie Nightingale and Howard Marks and there are lots of original local food outlets, including Nigel Haworth's stunning outdoor gourmet BBQ. Expect his legendary homemade sausages and imaginative beer-can BBQ chicken. Fine finger food in a field!

There will be 15 new additions their entertainment too, including a HD cinema showing cult classics and thought provoking documentaries, an inspiring speaker’s tent, a fun adult games area, cutting edge video projections, walk about art, VIP day tent packages with waiter service and 3 on site restaurants.
