For the New year we are delighted to announce that all Ribble Valley Inns will now take reservations for lunch or dinner, Monday to Friday only.

So now when you want to enjoy our new Spring menus you can be sure there's a table waiting for you...the minute you arrive.

On Saturday & Sundays we are still operating our blackboard waiting list when every table's taken and bookings can be made for parties of 6 or more.

New Spring Menu introduced at all pubs this week!

Christmas is now a distant memory!

Nigel has been working with his Head Chefs at the pubs to develop new dishes for the new year.

A selection of the new dishes are:

  • Chadwick's of Bury Horseshoe Blackpudding, English Mustard, Onion Relish
  • Muncaster Crab Cake, Tomato & Caper Sauce
  • Roast Breast of Goosnargh Duckling, Buttered Spring Cabbage, Oven Baked Goat's Cheese, Garlic Potatoes, Orange & Juniper Sauce
  • Seared Tuna Salad, Butter Beans, Red Onion & Cherry Tomatoes, New Potato Salad, Leaves
  • Burnt English Custard, Stewed Rhubarb
  • Marmalade sponge Pudding, Blood Orange Ice Cream, Sticky Sauce

Just finished shopping - looking for a light snack or a late lunch in the afternoon – then call in at any of our pubs and we have a special “Afternoon Bites” Menu, now extended to include more choice, for example:

  • The Ribble Valley Inns Ploughman’s or Local Seafood Platter
  • A selection of sandwiches, now includes hot sandwiches of Ribble Valley Rib-eye steak with caramelised onions or Goosnargh Chicken Breast and Stuffing
