| Land of Hope and Hotpot - Nigel wins through on BBC 2's Great British Menu |

After 8 weeks of heats, and an intense final round, the Great British Menu for 2009 has been revealed - and Nigel has taken centre stage on the menu with his latest version of Lancashire Hotpot as the main course.
Nigel would like to thank all of you who have supported him throughout the
challenging
8 weeks of the competition and finally it was the votes that counted - so a BIG thank you if you voted.
The winning 4-course menu will be served at a banquet at the RAF’s historic Halton House to honour men and women retuning from active service in Afghanistan. It will be featured in a special documentary to be screened on BBC2 on Tuesday 16th June 2009..
The winning menu and its chef creators are:
