| 1. NIGEL'S NEW A LA CARTE MENU |

Northcote Manor has a brand new a la carte menu…one which still reflects Nigel’s determination to capture the tastes of the season, but which now has the flexibility to add prime ingredients as they hit their peak of freshness. This means dishes will change more frequently than before although, in the run-up to the festive season, the selected Christmas lunch will always feature alongside the 5-course Gourmet Menu. In the evenings, the a la carte, tasting and gourmet menus will all be available. You can view the latest a la carte menu on line at any time.

| 2. THE THREE FISHES WINNER OF NORTHWEST TOURISM “OSCARS” |

The England’s Northwest Tourism Awards recognise excellence within the tourism industry and individual business achievements over the past year. We were delighted to be presented with the award for “Taste of England’s Northwest” and will now go on to represent the region at the national awards in April. |

| 3. RIBBLE VALLEY INNS - EXPANSION NEWS - NEW PUB DUE TO OPEN IN MARCH 2007 |

The search for our second pub has not been easy, we were determined to find the right location and individuality like The Three Fishes. Finally last week Craig and Nigel signed the lease with Northern brewer - Daniel Thwaites for The Highwayman in Nether Burrow, near Kirkby Lonsdale. Paul Howarth, Retail Director of Thwaites revealed that the brewer had been waiting for the right opportunity to help the pub fulfil its true potential. “We knew the Highwayman was a great site and it has always been our intention to invest heavily when the time was right. This is certainly the case now, and in Ribble Valley Inns we have found an operator who knows the food retail business inside out and has huge experience and a proven track record in the delivery of food in a pub environment” The Highwayman will be in Craig and Nigel’s control to develop the ethos and design of the pub. Craig’s comments “It’s exactly what we’ve been looking for, great potential in the site, stunning location near to beautiful villages and rural towns, such as Kirkby Lonsdale and Nigel has started talking to new farmers and producers to add to his already strong list of Lancashire Food Heroes, along with raiding the borders of Yorkshire and Cumbria! An exciting start to 2007, work has already started and everything is on target for a March opening” |

The children’s play sheet at The Fishes includes all sorts of puzzles, quizzes and jokes, all with an educational link to understanding food and where it comes from. The response has been fantastic and more pictures will be appearing on our walls showing their efforts.
