1. The Length of Lancashire Cheeseboard at The Three Fishes
Continuing The Three Fishes dedication and commitment to our region’s artisan producers, Nigel has developed a new cheeseboard for The Three Fishes.
'The Length of Lancashire' is a unique cheese experience giving you the opportunity to taste 10 very different cheeses made in the Beacon Fell area, with varying ages from one day old curd to a one year old unpasteurised cheese.
The board is for 2 people to share at £12.50

2. The Completion of Phase 2, 3 New Bedrooms at Northcote
We are delighted to confirm the completion of our latest renovations and refurbishments to rooms 4, 5 and 6, which are listed on our tariff as Superior rooms.
The brief for these rooms was to create a lavish look in keeping with tradition, with a modern contemporary feel to the bathrooms whilst maintaining every aspect of luxury and comfort for our guests.

Jill has used a combination of silks, velvets and tweeds in muted tones of turquoise and taupe, terracotta, gold and ochre and finally in room 6 naturals and highlights of Vermillion.
Fabrics from Mulberry, Designers Guild, Osborne and Little and Andrew Martin Wallcoverings from Cole & Son, The Paint and Paper Library and Casamance in France, Furniture made to measure from Jan Cavelle and Bampton Design in Oak. The carpets supplied by Cavalier Carpets of Blackburn.

Phase 3 is scheduled to start at the beginning of April 2007, when we will be renovating and refurbishing the remaining 8 bedrooms, along with further enhancements to the exterior building, the landscaping of the garden area and carpark.
The completion of these physical aspects of Northcote’s accommodation will ensure we are a match to any of the leading restaurant with rooms in the UK
3. "Penny for your Thoughts”

4. Autumn Season Cookery Days - 2nd or 3rd of October
This week we took the delivery of Nigel’s new demonstration kitchen, state of the art equipment will give Nigel even more opportunities to demonstrate skills and new dishes for you to try.
The inclusion of a discreet but large drop down screen, video camera linked to a projector, will finally see the end of the 'telly' in the corner - meaning you will never miss any of the tricks of the trade from the Nigel.
